BOOK REVIEW: COMPLETE GUIDE TO A CLUTTER-FREE HOME

File Under: General by Excel Team

We’ve talked before on Modular Musings about the trend toward smaller, more modest homes, but one of the challenges with smaller homes is finding enough storage space and controlling clutter. Thankfully, there’s no shortage of tips online to help homeowners eliminate clutter, but there are also a few books on the topic.

One of those books is Black & Decker’s “The Complete Guide to a Clutter-Free Home.” We’re big fans of the entire Black & Decker series of do-it-yourself books, but this one seems especially useful. According to Amazon.com, the book “provides inspired answers and dozens of step-by-step projects that offer creative solutions to common storage challenges. From under- stairs shelving to full-height medicine cabinets to laundry rooms and lumber racks, this book shows you how to find hidden storage space around your home and how to put it to use efficiently.”

It sounds like a good reference no matter what size house you live in. We’ve purchased one of these space-saving books and will give it away to one reader chosen at random from all the comments left on Modular Musings this month.
